Friday was a big day at Gillette Stadium as the New England Revolution welcomed two new faces, Kei Kamara and Xavier Kouassi.
Kamara was traded to the Revs in a deadline day deal with Columbus Crew SC. The forward, who occupies a Designated Player slot, could play against the Chicago Fire on Saturday.
Kouassi, also a Designated Player, will need to wait to make his debut, as the midfielder is still rehabbing a right knee injury, which occurred in the second half of FC Sion’s 1-0 win over FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League on February 7.
