FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (2-2-1; 7 pts.) defeated the Houston Dynamo (3-2-0; 9 pts.), 2-0, at Gillette Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Forwards Kei Kamara and Juan Agudelo scored in the second half to secure three points for New England, which extended its MLS-best home winning streak to six matches and its current unbeaten streak to three matches.
Kamara opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, cleaning up his own rebound to notch his second goal of the season and the 88th of his MLS career. The goal ties Kamara with Roy Lassiter for the 11th most goals scored in League history.
