The New England Revolution had an active Tuesday, as they added left back Edgar Castillo while trading away Kelyn Rowe.
Castillo, 32, joins the Revs after spending one year with the Colorado Rapids while on-loan from Monterrey (Mexico). Castillo collected three goals and five assists during his first MLS season. Castillo won’t be a loanee in 2019 because the Rapids re-signed him before trading him to New England.
“We are excited to welcome Edgar to the Revolution and look forward to having him join us in New England ahead of preseason next month,” General Manager Michael Burns said.
