FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy returned to action this weekend as the Under-19s, Under-17s, and Under-15s all opened their USSDA fall seasons on Saturday, Sept. 1. All three teams hosted and defeated Empire United at Gillette Stadium.
All five Academy teams will be in action next weekend on Saturday, Sept. 8 and Sunday, Sept. 9. The U-14 and U-13 teams will travel to Portland, Conn. to face Oakwood Soccer Club in their first tests of the season, while the U-19s, U-17s, and U-15s will travel to Washington, D.C. to face D.C. United.
WEEK HIGHLIGHTS
- All three teams (U-19, U-17, and U-15) came out victorious on Saturday afternoon at Gillette Stadium with just one combined goal allowed in all three matches.
