The New England Revolution returned to MLS Cup playoff action as they traveled to Exploria Stadium to take on Orlando City SC on Sunday.
The Revs came into Sunday’s match with the upper hand as Pedro Gallese and Ruan were suspended in Orlando’s first-round matchup against NYCFC.
Tajon Buchanan got the Revolution off to a magical start in the 15th minute by earning the Revolution a penalty kick after being tackled inside the box.
Carles Gil would be the one to take the penalty kick. As keeper Brian Rowe dove to his right, the midfield maestro went down the middle and found the back of the net, giving the Revolution a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute.
