The New England Revolution played their final preseason game on Saturday when they bested KR Reykjavik 2-1.
The Revs grabbed a goal early on as Cristian Penilla was awarded a penalty 10th minute. The Ecuadorian won his 1v1 battle, forcing a foul from the Reykjavik defender. Penilla had a brief discussion with Carles Gil before ultimately beating the keeper from the spot.
Reykjavik found an equalizer in the 70th minute when Matt Turner failed to punch away a cross. The ball found its way to an attacker in the box, who had no issue putting it away.
