Revolution 2, Rapids 0: Revs get first win since July 23

The New England Revolution put an end to their six-game winless streak on Saturday when they defeated the Colorado Rapids 2-0.

Juan Agudelo grabbed the first goal of the night in the 13th minute. Gershon Koffie and Lee Nguyen were credited with assists after their quick passes created an opportunity for Agudelo. The striker's shot kissed the far post before settling in the back of the net. It was the Revolution's first goal in 373 league minutes.

The Rapids almost grabbed an equalizer in the 18th minute but Brad Knighton was there to deny Dillion Powers.
