The New England Revolution picked up an important road point on Saturday when they tied LAFC 1-1.
The home side struck first when Marco Urena scored his first of the season in the 52nd minute. The ball bounced around the Revs’ box before Diego Rossi passed it to Urena. The Costa Rican made good on the opportunity, slotting it past goalkeeper Brad Knighton.
The Revolution weren’t discouraged by the goal, as they nearly equalized two minutes later. Brian Wright, making his second consecutive start, was put in on goal by Kelyn Rowe, but goalkeeper Tyler Miller was there to make the save.
