The Portland Timbers are interested in Claude Dielna, according to multiple sources.
First reported by Paul Tenorio of the Athletic, MLSSoccer.com writer Sam Stejskal added that the New England Revolution would receive $100,000 in General Allocation Money if the deal is finalized. Tenorio stated that Dielna would have a one-year contract in the Rose City.
Dielna signed with the Revolution during the second half of the 2017 season. He was the starting center back at the beginning of 2018, donning the captain’s armband for new head coach Brad Friedel.
