Speaking to the media in past weeks, New England Revolution sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena said that he wanted to make another move. It looks like he finally did.
According to Frank Dell’Apa of the Boston Globe, the Revs have acquired 27-year-old Arnor Traustason from Sweedish side Malmo FF.
Traustason is a well traveled player having stints with the likes of AEK Athens in Greece as well as his latest stop at Malmo FF.
Last season in the Allsvenskan, Traustason racked up a goal and three assist in 20 appearances.
Traustason also has experience on the international level for his native Iceland.
