Gershon Koffie’s return to the New England Revolution lineup may have an added bonus for the 25-year old midfielder.
According to a report from GhanaSoccerNet, Koffie will be added to the national team roster for two friendlies against Mexico and the United States later this week. The two CONCACAF sides are preparing for the start of the 2017 Gold Cup that begins in July.
The Black Stars will play Mexico in Houston on June 28th followed by a match against the US in East Hartford, Conn., on July 1st.
