FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (6-4-5, 23 pts.) played the Chicago Fire (5-7-3, 18 pts.) to a 1-1 draw at Toyota Park on Saturday evening. Revolution forward Teal Bunbury scored the game-tying goal in the 82nd minute of play. Fire midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger recorded the lone goal scored by the home side in the 63rd minute of the match.
Bunbury's ninth goal of the season matches his career high for goals in a single season, previously achieved in 2011 with Sporting Kansas City. He has scored all nine of his goals in New England's last 12 games, including four in the club's last five matches, and is tied for the third most tallies in MLS this season.
