CARSON, Calif. – The New England Revolution topped the LA Galaxy, 4-1, in the club’s second preseason contest, as 22 different players each saw 45 minutes of action. Adam Buksa and Teal Bunbury provided the opening goals in the first half, while Tommy McNamara and Gustavo Bou tallied on the other side of halftime. In total, seven Revolution players found their way onto the scoresheet with a goal or an assist.
Buksa tallied New England’s opening goal in the sixth minute, as Bunbury intercepted an errant pass and fed it to the striker for a close-range finish.
