Recap: Revs beat Sporting KC, 1-0, to climb to 4th place in MLS standings

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (4-2-2; 14 pts.) defeated Sporting Kansas City (5-2-2; 17 pts), 1-0, before a crowd of 17,015 at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. Teal Bunbury scored the game's lone goal in the 44th minute, marking the Revolution forward's team-leading fourth of the season and the 40th of his MLS career. Goalkeeper Matt Turner registered four saves as he backstopped the club to its third clean sheet of the season, which is tied for the most by an MLS team in 2018.

With a goal in tonight's contest, Bunbury has now found the back of the net in four of New England's last five games.
