FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (9-9-7, 34 pts.) played to a 3-3 road draw with the Seattle Sounders (11-7-6; 39 pts.) before a crowd of 38,826 at CenturyLink Field on Saturday afternoon. Seattle midfielder Harry Shipp opened the scoring with a goal in the second minute. Revolution defender Michael Mancienne and forward Gustavo Bou answered with goals just eight minutes apart in the 27^th and 35^th minutes, respectively. Seattle would go on to score two additional goals to regain the lead, but an 87^th-minute Carles Gil penalty kick goal salvaged an important point for the visitors.
