RECAP: Penilla's 11th goal of the season not enough as Revs fall in Toronto

TORONTO – The New England Revolution (8-11-11, 35 pts.) fell to Toronto FC (9-15-6, 33 pts.), 4-1, at BMO Field on Saturday evening. The Revolution jumped out to an early lead with a goal from forward Cristian Penilla in the 10^th minute, but Toronto FC responded with four unanswered goals, three coming in the second half, to claim all three points.

After Penilla’s early goal, Toronto pulled level in the 36^th minute with a strike from Sebastian Giovinco. The Reds grabbed the lead in the 53^rd minute as Lucas Janson buried a rebound to put the hosts up 2-1.
