TORONTO – The New England Revolution (8-11-11, 35 pts.) fell to Toronto FC (9-15-6, 33 pts.), 4-1, at BMO Field on Saturday evening. The Revolution jumped out to an early lead with a goal from forward Cristian Penilla in the 10th minute, but Toronto FC responded with four unanswered goals, three coming in the second half, to claim all three points.
After Penilla’s early goal, Toronto pulled level in the 36th minute with a strike from Sebastian Giovinco. The Reds grabbed the lead in the 53rd minute as Lucas Janson buried a rebound to put the hosts up 2-1.
