FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (3-4-4; 13 pts.) defeated Real Salt Lake (2-7-2; 8 pts.), 4-0, at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. Four different Revolution players scored in the first half as the club extended its home unbeaten streak at Gillette Stadium to nine matches. The result also marks New England's largest margin of victory since the last time it hosted Real Salt Lake in Foxborough – another 4-0 victory on April 25, 2015.
Midfielder Scott Caldwell opened the scoring and his 2017 account in the fourth minute, capping off clinical buildup play from Diego Fagundez and Chris Tierney.
