COLUMBUS, Ohio – The New England Revolution (1-4-1, 4 pts.) fell to Columbus Crew SC (4-1-1, 13 pts.), 1-0, at MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday evening. The game’s lone goal came on a Josh Williams header off of a Federico Higuaín free kick assist in the 42nd minute. The Revs played the game’s final 26 minutes with 10 men, after defender Michael Mancienne received a second yellow card in the 64th minute.

Goalkeeper Cody Cropper made his second consecutive start in net, while rookie DeJuan Jones made his second career MLS start in the midfield, playing 61 minutes.
