LAFC forward Marco Ureña scored the game's opening goal in the 52nd minute, but Revolution defender Brandon Bye equalized in the 82nd minute with a powerful header inside the near post to net New England a critical point and extend the team's unbeaten run to three games. The draw brings New England within five points of the Montreal Impact for the sixth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand.
