Recap | Bunbury's brace propels Revs to 4-3 win over D.C. in regular-season home finale

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (8-6-8, 32 pts., 1.45 PPG) defeated D.C. United, 4-3, at Gillette Stadium on Sunday night. D.C. United jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals from Yamil Asad and Griffin Yow in the 22nd and 26th minutes, respectively. The Revolution responded with three unanswered goals – first from Adam Buksa, who polished off a penalty kick attempt by Carles Gil that hit woodwork. On the other side of halftime, New England equalized through an own goal, before Teal Bunbury put the hosts ahead in the 67th minute.
