FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (6-4-4, 22 pts.) defeated the New York Red Bulls (7-4-1, 22 pts.), 2-1, before a crowd of 21,576 at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. Revolution forward Teal Bunbury scored his fifth game-winning goal of the season – and eighth goal overall – in the 78th minute to propel the home side to victory. After ceding an early goal to Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips, midfielder Diego Fagundez leveled the score in first-half stoppage time with his fourth tally of the year.

Bunbury has scored all eight of his goals in New England's last 10 games, including three in the club's last four matches, and is tied for the fourth most tallies in MLS this season.
