LOS ANGELES – Ten days after handing New York City FC their first home loss of the season the New England Revolution will now look to crash the party at Banc of California Stadium, where they’ll meet expansion side Los Angeles FC for the first time on Saturday night.
The Revs (8-10-9, 33 pts.) enter the weekend perched in eighth place in the Eastern Conference, but just three points back of the final playoff spot and with a game in hand on the sixth-place Montreal Impact. LAFC (13-7-7, 46 pts.), meanwhile, are third in the West, just three points off the conference lead.
