New England Revolution Sign Goalkeeper Earl Edwards Jr.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have signed goalkeeper Earl Edwards Jr. as a free agent. Entering his seventh MLS season in 2021, the MLS veteran arrives in New England following two seasons with D.C. United and four prior years with Orlando City SC.

Edwards, 28, owns more than 50 career games played across all competitions in MLS and the USL Championship. He spent the last two seasons with D.C. United, where he featured extensively for the club’s USL Championship affiliate, Loudoun United FC. Edwards, who played under Revolution Assistant Coach Richie Williams in 2019, registered 16 appearances for Loudoun.
