The New England Revolution just keep making moves this offseason as The Athletic has reported that the club has signed free agent Emmanuel Boateng.
Boateng has been stateside for five years now after coming over from Sweden. Who was the man who brough him over? None other than Bruce Arena. Boateng spent four seasons with the LA Galaxy before moving to D.C. United in 2019.
In 2020, Boateng spent time with both D.C. United and the MLS Cup winning Columbus Crew. He had 12 appearances and was only able to register an assist.
In his MLS career, the soon to be 27 year old has nine goals and 14 assists in nearly 125 appearances.
