New England Revolution protect players ahead of 2018 MLS Expansion Draft

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution have protected 11 players from selection by FC Cincinnati in the 2018 MLS Expansion Draft, which will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 2:00 p.m. ET. In addition, three of the Revolution's Homegrown Players are automatically exempt from the draft, leaving 14 Revolution players ineligible for selection in Tuesday's draft.

The Revolution's 11 protected players are forward Juan Agudelo, forward Teal Bunbury, defender Brandon Bye, midfielder Luis Caicedo (international), defender Antonio Delamea, midfielder Diego Fagundez, defender Andrew Farrell, defender Michael Mancienne (international), forward Cristian Penilla (international), midfielder Kelyn Rowe, and goalkeeper Matt Turner.
