New England Revolution: Matt Polster still doesn’t remember concussion

In recent years we have learned a lot more about concussions and head injuries. They are injuries that need to be taken seriously. Matt Polster has shown just how much they can affect a player.

Polster sustained a head injury in a game against D.C. United in late September. The midfielder slid in for a tackle and ended up getting clipped in the head by the DC attacker. He instantly went down and it was a scary moment for all involved.

Polster returned to the pitch on October 11th and went on to make 10 more appearances throughout the regular season and playoffs in 2020.
