New England Revolution fans have been asking for the team to make a move. While they finally got it on Saturday. The Revs signed free agent goalkeeper Earl Edwards Jr.
Edwards Jr. spent the first four years of his career with Orlando City SC. They selected the goalkeeper with the 43rd overall pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. He went on to make only 12 appearances for the club.
The San Diego California native’s most recent stint came with D.C. United. Edwards Jr. spent most of his time with United’s USL Championship affiliate, Loudoun United FC. In 2019 he made 16 appearances for Loudoun.
