The New England Revolution could have a soccer-specific stadium within five years, according to MLS commissioner Don Garber.
On the same day that the Revs were beaten 4-2 by FC Dallas in the U.S. Open Cup Final, Garber spoke to Sports Illustrated on a variety of topics. As is often the case in these open forum discussions, the Revolution's search for a permanent home was brought up. Garber's statement on the matter can only be viewed as positive.
When asked if the Revs will have a soccer-specific stadium in five years, Garber said, "I believe so, and I’d be shocked if they weren’t.
