Earlier this year, New England Revolution fans got to witness their goalkeeper get his first start for the United States Men’s National Team. Sadly they will have to wait.
The USMNT released their roster ahead of CONCACAF Nations League Finals with the first game taking place against Honduras on June 3rd. If the United States is able to win, they will meet either Costa Rica or Mexico in the Final on June 6th.
So who will be in net for the stars and stripes? Gregg Berhalter named three goalkeepers to the squad and Matt Turner was not one of them.
