Matt Turner’s seven save performance against New York City FC over the weekend notched him a place in New England Revolution history as the first Revs goal keeper to claim an MLS Player of the Week award.
Turner is the first-ever #NERevs goalkeeper to win MLS Player of the Week (which is absurd because it means Matt Reis never won), and the first overall since Kei Kamara in 2017 (which is absurd because it means Carles Gil has never won).
But damn, what a worthy performance.
