The New England Revolution had quite the game on Thursday. A 0-0 draw between the Philadelphia Union might seem boring but some things were learned. It’s fair to say we understand why the Revs brought in Matt Polster.
Polster came over from Rangers FC in the Scottish Premiership and that experience will be valuable in MLS. He brought the right energy in his debut match.
From the start, Polster was making an impact. You could tell he had just come over from Scotland because he was playing a physical game. Before the end of the first half he managed to get a yellow card.
