The New England Revolution sported a starting XI that was heavily rotated and featured some faces that aren’t used to being in the starting XI, including Luis Caicedo.
Caicedo got his first MLS minutes since October 6th of 2019. It’s safe to say it was a long time coming for the Columbian.
The 25-year-old missed all of the 2020 season and also the majority of the 2021 season after recovering from surgery to repair his meniscus in his right knee.
In his first game back, Caicedo played all 90 minutes, had 49 touches, won six duels, had three successful tackles, and three interceptions.
