FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution Academy player Isaac Angking has been called in to the U.S. Under-17 National Team for the 2017 Spring Semester of the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in Bradenton, Fla. Angking is one of 32 players named to the program, as well as one of 28 who are returning after participating in the 2016 Fall Semester.
The U-17 MNT now looks ahead to an eventful year, with the U-17 World Cup qualifying tournament set to take place from April 14-May 8 in Panama. While the main objective of the Residency Program continues to be player development, the emphasis will shift to building a team that is capable of qualifying for the World Cup.
