FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to challenge normalcy, it has forced hospitals to make radical adjustments to keep their patients safe.
Before the coronavirus, young patients at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, R.I., looked forward to frequent visitors. Now, in an effort to keep them safe, access to guests has been restricted. Only one parent is permitted to be with the patient.
