New England Revolution midfielder Zachary Herivaux started and played 67 minutes for the Haiti national team in their 4-0 loss to Argentina on Tuesday in Buenos Aires.
Operating from right midfield, Herivaux won a free kick and committed a foul in the first half, helping Les Grenadiers trail only 1-0 at the break. The appearance was his third cap for the team of his father’s native land. He made his senior-team debut in 2017, a 3-3 draw vs Japan.
The match served as the final competitive fixture for La Albiceleste as they prepare to travel to Russia for World Cup 2018 which begins on June 12.
