New England Revolution fans far and wide were stumped somewhat to see Kelyn Rowe start this past Saturday's draw with the Houston Dynamo in a deep-lying position.
Alongside Gershon Koffie, the fifth-year player's performance was riddled with ups and downs, as he adjusted from life on the wing. Then, an even greater surprise surfaced just before the second half commenced, as Rowe was subbed off with an undisclosed knock.
On came Scott Caldwell, who many figured would deputize alongside Koffie in the heart of midfield, and Rowe's long-term status appeared uncertain.
