New England Revolution head coach Brad Friedel had one word to describe Wednesday’s performance against the Montreal Impact: unacceptable.
In desperate need of a positive result, the Revs lost 3-0 against the Impact. The Revolution were thoroughly outplayed at home, as they failed to muster a single shot on target. Their opponent, who arrived in the area that day due to travel issues, recorded nine shots on goal.
“I don’t think it’s acceptable to have zero shots on target in any game, whether it’s home or away,” Friedel said during an interview with Zolak and Bertrand.
