Former Revolution defender to play for Puerto Rico, face USMNT

Former New England Revolution defender Jeremy Hall has been called up by Puerto Rico ahead of Sunday's friendly against the US National Team.

Hall, 27, made 12 appearances for the Revolution in 2015, playing a total of 998 minutes. The defender had his option declined at the end of the year, which paved the way for him to sign with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of NASL. Hall has a one-year contract with a club option for 2017.

Hall left the Rowdies for Puerto Rico on Tuesday to prepare for this weekend's game. The Florida native featured for United States Under-17 and Under-18 teams but never made an appearance for the senior team.
