Former Revolution defender A.J. Soares scores in Denmark debut

It didn't take long for A.J. Soares to make an impact in Denmark, as the former New England Revolution defender scored in his debut.

On Monday, Soares started at center back in AGF Aarhus' game against Esbjerg. It was a poor start for AGF, who conceded two goals before making their comeback. The final strike of the night belonged to Soares, whose left-footed beauty leveled the score at 2-2, which is how the game would end.

Soares was modest about the goal after the game saying, "It was good. It was a good moment but I'm not a goalscorer, so maybe I don't have the same sort of ambition to do that as maybe the strikers.
