Former New England Revolution striker Sean Okoli is on trial with FC Cincinnati of USL, according to the club's Director of Communications D.J. Switzer.
The 23-year-old originally signed with the Revs on Jan. 19, 2015 after being acquired during a draft day trade with the Seattle Sounders. He appeared in five regular season games for the Revs, contributing a total of 46 minutes. Okoli also started in the club's 1-0 loss to the Charlotte Independence during the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup.
Okoli was invited back for a second season with the Revolution and even spent time training with Portuguese affiliate Sporting CP during the off-season.
