FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Prior to the start of the 2021 campaign, sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena consistently preached a message that seems to have stuck with his players.
“This year, I think it’s important that we get off to a stronger start than in 2020 or in previous years,” Arena said during a preseason installment of Coffee with the Coach fueled by Dunkin' (March 23, 2021). “We don’t want to be a team that’s struggling at the end of the year to make the playoffs. We’d like to get off to a positive start.
