On October 9, 2019 it was confirmed that the New England Revolution would be fielding a player-development focused team competing in USL League One named Revolution II.
Revolution II’s logo, head coach, and inaugural roster have all yet to be announced, and will be shared prior to the start of the 2020 season next March.
The addition of a second professional team will elevate the player development process by providing a fully defined pathway from the Academy to the professional ranks, facilitating growth through higher-level competition and a professional structure.
