BRADENTON, Fla. – The New England Revolution’s new coaching staff came into the year with a clean slate approach, ready to challenge players by testing both their physical fitness and technical skills.
As preseason progresses, head coach Brad Friedel has noticed those who not only have the talent and work ethic, but also those who can be all-around leaders. One of the players stepping up to the plate in that department has been Claude Dielna.
“When a new staff comes in, we get to see who we feel have the leadership qualities within the group,” said Friedel.
