During Sunday’s match against NYCFC, the Revolution left its fans at the alter. Up 1-0 after 75 minutes of play, the club conceded twice in the final 15 minutes en route to a 2-1 loss.
But Sunday wasn’t the only time the team failed to follow through this season. The Revs have struggled to close matches throughout its campaign, a deficiency that has played a significant part in the club’s ranking near the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
According to defender Antonio Delamea, these dropped points have placed the Revs in must-win territory through the end of the year.
