New England Revolution supporters have put together some special tifo displays in recent years, and prior to Saturday night's meeting with D.C. United, the Midnight Riders presented their first offering for the 2017 season.
The tifo was a tribute to Chris Tierney - a Massachusetts native currently in his 10th year with the Revolution - and was a reference to the Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers song "New England."
After the game, Tierney offered his thoughts on the special tribute.
