FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Every time Carles Gil threads the needle to set up a teammate this season, children in the Dominican Republic will benefit. Every time Gustavo Bou delivers a set piece that a teammate heads home, critical funds will be raised to deliver educational and soccer programming in underprivileged areas. Every time Brandon Bye whips in a cross that gets buried, money will be donated to empower youth in low-income communities.
That’s all thanks to Assists for Aspiras, a fundraising initiative launched on Monday and driven by New England Revolution right back Brandon Bye and his Aspiras Foundation co-founder, Federico Tavarez.
