The New England had a disappointing end to their 2020 season. After making a run in the MLS Cup Playoffs, they came up short in the Eastern Conference Finals. If they want to improve they need to make some moves and it looks like Bruce Arena is already getting to work.
Arena stated after the club’s loss to the Columbus Crew that he wanted to bring in two or three players in the offseason. New England’s decision to not bring back Diego Fagundez, Cristian Penilla, Kelyn Rowe, and Lee Nguyen only exasperated the need for the Revs to make a splash this offseason.
