There isn’t much you can take away from Saturday’s game between the New England Revolution and New York City FC, according to Revs head coach Bruce Arena.
The Revolution played on the narrow confines of Yankee Stadium without regular starters Carles Gil, Tajon Buchanan, and Brandon Bye. Gustavo Bou only played the second half after returning from the All Star Game on Thursday. Matt Polster entered in the 57th minute as he makes his way back to full health.
In short, it wasn’t a full-strength Revs team who lost 2-0.
“I don’t take a whole lot out of [the game],” Arena told media.
