New England Revolution head coach Brad Friedel was scouting in Colombia, according to ESPN reporter David Gutierrez.
Gutierrez tweeted on Saturday that Friedel and assistant coach Marcelo Neveleff traveled to South America to look for new talent. The duo was slated to view Independiente Medellin vs. Envigado and Rionegro Aguilas vs Atletico Bucaramanga. The first game, which took place on Saturday, ended 2-2 while the second ended 1-0 in favor of Aguilas.
