The Boston Breakers welcomed a familiar face back to its ranks as the club announced the signing of 33-year-old forward Tiffany Weimer.
Weimer played for the Breakers during WPS, making eight appearances for them in 2010. Since then Weimer has appeared for several NWSL clubs: the Portland Thorns, the Washington Spirit, and most recently FC Kansas City before a stint in Sweden for Kvarnsvedens IK, where she logged five goals in 10 games over 900 minutes.
Weimer joins an attack that already features Emilie Haavi, Natasha Dowie, Brittany Ratcliffe, and Adriana Leon, plus draft picks Ifeoma Onumonu and Hayley Dowd.
